About Gestorro
Who
Gestorro is built by expat founders in Spain who run their own autónomo and company filings. We are not a gestoría and we don't sell tax advice. We built the system behind Gestorro for ourselves first — after dealing with real AEAT filing gaps, gestoría failures and enforcement risk on our own taxes. Working through our own case, we found and fixed issues worth thousands of euros in our own filings. That experience is why this exists.
How guides are made
Every guide starts as a draft written with AI assistance, then goes through a verification pass where each normative claim is checked against primary sources — the BOE (Spain's official state gazette) and AEAT's own documentation — and reviewed by a human before publication. Claims that can't be tied to a primary source are cut. Every page lists its sources and its last review date. If you find an error anyway, tell us and we'll fix it.
Why
Because the current system fails foreigners twice: official information is written in bureaucratic Spanish, and the gestoría model is a black box you're liable for. The guides close the first gap. The product we're building — a private dashboard that checks filings, deadlines and notifications on your own data — closes the second. Join the waitlist if you want it.
The name
gestorro = gestor + Zorro. The mark in the logo is a mask — the masked ally who deals with the black box so you don't have to. Sharp, a little rebellious, and on your side: Gestorro keeps you more compliant, not less. Anti-chaos, anti-black-box — never anti-law.
What Gestorro is not
Not a gestoría. Not asesoría fiscal. Not legal advice. We never file anything on your behalf and we never store your passwords or certificates. For decisions about your specific situation, verify with a qualified professional or directly with AEAT.
